If there is one word to describe the New Jersey Accounting, Business & Technology Show that happened in May, it would be “successful”. The annual show covered areas of interest such as accounting, finance, payroll and cloud accounting for CPA firms. Naturally, the overall footfall of the 2-day event was phenomenal – with CPAs, EAs, accounting firm owners and other related professionals scurrying around the venue to meet and network with industry go-getters and exchange the latest CPA trends. The QXAS Inc. team, comprising Laurence Whittam and our VP Hardik Shah, was happy to help attendees with their queries on the accounting services we offer. They spoke to numerous CPAs, often hearing the same issues of shortage of staff or just straight overwork, explained the various models of service we provide and how we can simply take care of their lower billable work such as bookkeeping, payroll and processing tax returns – all highly time consuming and can make a huge difference. In addition to this, our goodie bags – which were placed stylishly on the counter – were also a hit and grabbed attention of lots of attendees. Our “lucky draw” contest was also received well and ten winners were picked up over the event. Our team was indeed overwhelmed to see such a high level of engagement and we definitely plan to come back and exhibit again next year.
